Our story begins in the fall of 1994 when a group of citizens, unhappy with how things went in Poggio Renatico, he was at home with one of them to talk about a shared concern. In those days, even close but forgotten, the political parties were in deep crisis, overwhelmed by the cyclone Tangentopoli. he revealed what everyone already knew this, and unfortunately tolerated. He had created a climate of mistrust among citizens led to believe that all politicians did their own advantage, or that of his party, to the detriment of civil society and community.
In this context of uncertainty and the collapse of ideologies, our group decided to form the Civic Party UNITED POGGIO, which had as its first statement independence from the parties and, as the second, the central administration of the territory based on 'listening to citizens and their needs. The group drew up a founding was inspired by these principles by providing a free membership, regardless of faith or political activism.
